Launch checklist (in case you're thinking about launching)
Learn about the tips and tricks the Skyvern team uses to launch new features across many different social media channels

We did our MCP Launch last week. We ended up getting over 300 signups to Skyvern and over 20 meetings booked from it
Here was my launch checklist:
- Build something interesting (MCP Server that can connect to both your local browser and cloud)
- Give people an easy way to try it out (keep it to 2-3 low friction instructions)
- Create a few videos of your tool in action using screenstudio. Make sure these are <20s in length, and highly punchy (ie only show interesting things)
- Draft a blog post that highlights (1) why you built it, (2) what problem it solves, and (3) how you can try it out and what value it can bring you
- Create a list of launch targets. In our case, it was (HN, Reddit, Github, LinkedIn, Twitter)
- For HN, draft a slightly dry, highly informative post and post it to ShowHN. Pray you get enough upvotes to break the sound barrier.
- Twitter, LinkedIn should be demo-heavy. Get people excited as they scroll
- Github has a ton of "awesome-xxx" lists. In our case, there were 4 lists related to MCPs. I added Skyvern into each one of those.
- Reddit has a ton of subreddits. Find the one that may find your product intersting and post in there
- Ask ChatGPT DeepResearch to give you ideas where else to launch beyond that (producthunt? fondo blog?)
